In 1875 Mother Gonzaga Barry led a small group of Loreto nuns to start the first Loreto school in Australia. In
1931 the Loreto School, Nedlands was built and opened to pupils by the Loreto Sisters. In 2010 Colgan Industries
were commissioned to build the school’s new performing arts wing, incorporating the new school canteen and glass
panel elevator. Colgan Industries also project managed the design and installation of the state-of -the-art lighting and
audio-visual system.
